In the Community
St. Lucie Medical Center is committed to providing the highest level of care that our patients can receive. This past year, in response to the growing healthcare needs of our community, we completed
a $22.4 million construction project that includes a new Orthopedic Institute, complete with
35 acute care beds and two additional operating rooms. We’re now the only hospital on the
Treasure Coast to offer advanced da Vinci robot-assisted surgeries for prostate, general and
gynecological surgeries. We also completed the process of establishing a fully functional and
staffed Hospitalist Group that provides physician services to our patients 24 hours per day, 7
days per week.
